I was just working on my Circuits and Signals homework when I realized something. Whatever happened to working with the variable 'x'? I still have the 'y' but it can differ with dots, capitalization, cursive, italics and Greek and they make me work with a lot of 's's these days. Often a 't' or 'τ' gets in there but what happened to 'x'? I miss x... Now solve for Y(s) and find the inverse Laplace transform. Yeah, that's how I feel.
Looking at that equation makes me sick to my stomach. However, I admire those people in the world like you, who can actually look at that jumbled mess of letters and numbers and figure out how to solve it. So to quote Elle Woods: Snaps for Bret! :-)

Good luck with that!! If you ever need any help, ask your roommate.
