Random Guppies and more!

For those of you familiar with woot.com, it is a website that sells one item per day. Now, this item may be strange and new or it could be a old and refurbished. But once in a very great while, a special item called the BoC or random guppy appears. When it does, to goes fast! This because for $3 and $5 shipping, you could get anything. And I mean ANYTHING! It is a coveted item. One I have been trying to get for over a year and a half. And this past April Fool's day, I got it! Excitedly, I awaited the arrival of my bag and this is what I got yesterday.

1 x Refurbished 4gb Sansa
1 x Power Squid
2 x pairs of Woot-off lights
1 x Easy Park
1 x Green Bucket
2 x Woman's Small "Yay Broccoli!" T-shirt
1 x Phillips headset
1 x Nondescript pair of sound cables
1 x Camo Screaming Monkey
1 x Strange Polaroid Gamepad
25 x Bag of Texas Air

All in all, a good haul. For $8, I got much of value, particularly the Sansa and power squid. The Sansa is an mp3 player but so far, hasn't worked. The screen doesn't turn on and I can't get it to do anything. I took it apart, but nothing was immediately noticably wrong. I did manage to hear some of the recordings I've accidentally made so now I'm trying to hear the music I loaded onto it. I'll keep at it. Matt and Harrison managed to fit inside the t-shirts though.

I do have a new niece! Her name is Daphne Beryl Christensen. Go ahead and congradulate Kimber, Nick and Rex for their new arrival. Congratulations!

In other news, I am enjoying my new glasses. I can see outlines now! Trees look pretty cool. I think the glasses also improved my depth perception because now, when I walk by trees, they look more 3-D. It is so cool! Also, I noticed why I liked pictures I've taken at night. They are so clear! You see, when the camera does the focusing and I sit yea far from the computer screen, I still perceive the clarity. Now, I can see that kind of clarity on my own! I guess my night vision is also better. Good times.

So yes, that's my story. And school ends in three weeks. I'm looking for a summer job at this point. Happy Easter!
