Humdrum

On a lonely Friday evening, the first since school has commenced once again, I'll decide to write on my blog. School? I might learn a thing or two about control systems, digital signal processing, microelectronics and mobile robots. Speaking of robots, I'm on a team to build one for my senior project and I need ideas for a mobile robot function. We're thinking so far of tag or something like that. With two robots, not with people. That would break some kind of robot rule, tagging a human...unheard of!

And perhaps you've heard of 'battery memory' or somesuch nonsense, where if you don't drain your battery completely before recharging, it will quickly and surely become defunct as opposed to slowly but surely. Turns out that only applies to NiCd and NiMH batteries, the cylindrical kind, and not to Lithium types in cell phones and cameras. In fact, my deep discharges probably have been quite damaging to my phone and battery. Oh, the things you learn.

Laptops are of the lithium family, so it applies there too.
