So far from what we've decided (today) is a system that collects rain water during the rainy season and automatically uses it to irrigate a field for a few weeks once the dry season hits. Apparently it has been hitting a few weeks too early and the corn hasn't matured properly. It's self sufficient because it has to collect rain water and provide its own electricity. So aside from that, I have four other classes that I have to attend to, and two jobs. Woot!

A new semester, a new project
My team and I, the same team as last semester actually, have landed yet another pet project of the professor in charge. This time, instead of working on Dr. Chen's MASnet platform, Dr. Wheeler evolved our drip control system idea into a self-sustaining irrigation system meant for use to benefit an orphanage in Uganda. If we can prove that our designs will work in an effective and cost-efficient way, they might actually be implemented. That would be cool.
